Julio Urias’ sentence states that the baseball player will have to do 30 days of community work and take a 52-week course on domestic violence counseling.
The Mexican player will also not be able to possess firearms, use violence and is obliged to comply with protection orders.

On September 3, 2023, Julio Urías was arrested after he physically assaulted his wife at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, where they attended a soccer game. Urias was released on bail after paying $50,000.
After the attack, a third party filed a complaint of physical abuse against the Mexican player, who was facing the same situation for the second time in 4 years. Soon after, the Dodgers parted ways with their team.
Urias was charged with 5 counts, including domestic violence and assault, to which he did not object. However, since they were considered misdemeanors, he reached an agreement not to step foot in jail.
Currently, the Mexican does not have a team.
