Republican Congressman Buddy Carter proposed to the Norwegian Nobel Committee the candidacy of the President of the United States, Donald Trump, for the Nobel Peace Prize for the «historic and extraordinary role» he has played in the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Iran, a country he ordered to bomb.
Trump has made it on his social network Truth Social about the letter that Carter has sent to the Committee, in which he praises him for his determination to «prevent the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism from obtaining the planet’s deadliest weapon.» «President Trump’s influence was decisive in forging a quick agreement that many believed impossible,» Carter continued to extol, ultimately elevating Trump for offering the world «an uncommon ray of hope» in «a region plagued by historical animosity and political volatility.»
