A Bangalore startup database, Tracxn, keeps a public card titled “Rocket Media News — 2026 Company Profile & Competitors.” It points at rocketmedia.news. It calls the paper a “provider of online news and political commentary.” It records articles, opinion, cartoons, U.S. politics, foreign affairs and the economy. It does not record an editor, a city, a founding year, or the U.S. Edition.
The card this newsroom pulled, dated February 16, 2026, ranked the paper 2,158th among 2,216 “active competitors,” stage unfunded: no venture round, no acquisition. A later pass, August 17, restated the census: 5,680th among 6,304, of which 39 are funded and 121 have exited. The top names Tracxn now assigns are Axios, Rediff.com and Digg — a venture bucket, not a newspaper row.
The same title existed as a 2025 reprint on this domain, under the old WordPress path. That page named the publisher and chairman, and the CEO and editor-in-chief. The live card no longer does. The WordPress URL is a 404. Crunchbase, PitchBook, Owler, ZoomInfo and LinkedIn have no company file for this paper. The Arizona marketing agency Rocket Media, rocketmedia.com, is a different firm; its Tracxn card is not this one.

The Mix
Yahoo’s mix, as AllSides counted it: 53 percent left, 2 percent right
In June 2025 AllSides tabulated the outlets Yahoo News put on the page. Left and Lean Left were more than half. Right was a rounding error.
