AAA put the U.S. diesel average at $6.2301 a gallon on Monday, a record, above Sunday’s $6.2040. Regular gasoline is $4.3163. The previous high was yesterday. The Economy desk files the workhorse fuel on the morning the markets open and the meeting in Oman does not.
Trump, leaving Doonbeg, blamed Zelensky. Stop hitting Russian refineries, he said. The shortage is Kyiv, not Iran. Brent has been above $108. Distillate inventories are already below the five-year range. Salalah was postponed overnight at Saudi request. The maps stay in the drawer.
