Florida has a ballot measure to slash property taxes. Gov. Ron DeSantis says there is fat to cut. County officials say a sharp drop in revenue will hit libraries, parks, and emergency services. The States desk files Tallahassee, not Miami. The fight is the levy, not the beach.
