BALTIMORE — The Associated Press reported that the Jacksonville Jaguars beat the Baltimore Ravens, 33-10, on Thursday night. Trevor Lawrence threw for 242 yards and a touchdown. With 58 seconds left in the half he found Parker Washington for 50 yards and a score. Jacksonville led 17-3 at halftime.
Joe Fagnano, 25, made his first start. Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley are hurt, and AP said both of Baltimore’s top quarterbacks are on injured reserve. Fagnano completed 10 of 18 passes for 60 yards and threw two interceptions in the second half. Baltimore is 4-5 and has lost four straight. AP said the club is waiting on Jacoby Brissett. In the third quarter a fumble put the ball in Baltimore’s hands at midfield. The Ravens turned it over on downs, and the crowd booed. A fumble on a kick return set up Chris Rodriguez Jr.’s 2-yard touchdown with 7:26 left, and the score was 33-3. Eleven seconds later Justice Hill ran 65 yards for a touchdown, Baltimore’s first score after halftime since Week 5.
AP’s Friday scorecard also listed two NBA finals from Thursday: Golden State 120, Miami 100, and Phoenix 117, Orlando 104. Those are not this score. The last sports note in this paper was the Brewers’ parade, on Oct. 30. That parade stays filed. The photograph is Thursday night. Rain is visible. A Baltimore ballcarrier in purple is being taken down by Jacksonville. The club published the frame. This desk does not have a photographer’s name on it. It is not Friday.
