MILWAUKEE — Jacob Misiorowski is listed to start Game 1 of the World Series tonight. The Associated Press postseason card says Tampa Bay at Milwaukee, Friday, Oct. 23, at 8 p.m., and it lists him at 16 wins and 5 losses. The same card names the Rays’ starter. He is not in this photograph, so this note does not name him. Yesterday’s note said the wire had not announced a starter. This one says it has.
Neither club has won a Series. The first pitch has not been thrown. This is the listing, not the game.
Game 1 is tonight in Milwaukee.
The photograph is Sunday, Oct. 11, not tonight. Misiorowski, number 32, is in the first inning of National League Championship Series Game 1 against the Dodgers, in a white Brewers uniform, right arm coming through. Abbie Parr of the Associated Press made the frame. It is the same plate this desk used Thursday. It is not Media Day, and no Ray is in it.
