ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The Brewers beat the Rays, 10-1, on Monday night and lead the World Series, three games to none. They scored eight runs with two outs in the fifth, USA Today reported. No team had scored eight two-out runs in a World Series inning, the Elias Sports Bureau told USA Today. Seven Brewers in a row hit safely. Jackson Chourio was 4-for-5 with a double, a stolen base and two runs. Reuters reported he is 8-for-14 with four runs in the first three games, and that an RBI double capped the fifth. Milwaukee had 16 hits. Robert Gasser, 1-0, threw six scoreless innings and allowed one hit, a single by Yandy Diaz. USA Today said he walked one and struck out three. Game 4 is Tuesday night in the same building. It has not been played. One Reuters game story said the Brewers led three games to one. The score was 10-1, and they had won the first three. This desk is not printing that line.
