South Florida’s immigration courts are a crush, NPR reported Sunday. Haitians who had Temporary Protected Status meet the end of it. The Supreme Court in June let the administration strip the protection. Florida has the largest TPS population in the country. The States desk files a court, not a raid, that has become the raid.

ICE still has not put body cameras on its officers, a promise that has sat for years. The briefing ran the three together: the dockets, the status, the cameras. A judge in Miami last week kept alive a suit for Cubans on I-220A forms. The cameras are the one that did not move.

Haitians there meet the end of TPS with fear and resilience.
