WASHINGTON — President Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio plan Tuesday to show a newly arrived tanker of Venezuelan crude that is to be processed at Texas refineries, the Associated Press reported. The stop is Port Arthur. The same day, rallies are scheduled in Corpus Christi and Lubbock, for Ken Paxton against James Talarico. It is not clear whether Rubio, who is also the national security adviser, would join the campaign events. The AP said it would be the first time he has gone on the road with Trump as the president campaigns. He had not spoken when this edition closed. This note is the plan. It is not a speech, and it is not the national poll.
