Energy Transfer, Sunoco, and USA Compression will move their primary listings from the New York Stock Exchange to the Texas Stock Exchange in early October, Reuters reported. Combined market cap: nearly $100 billion. The first companies on the new board. The States desk files New York as a marble facade that is losing the names on it.
James Lee, who runs TXSE: “The movement of primary listings out of New York and into Texas has begun.” Kelcy Warren, who chairs Energy Transfer, owns about 30 percent of the Texas exchange’s parent. Two Texas Capital ETFs leave the NYSE on the sixteenth. A third, Westwood, on the seventeenth. Y’all Street is not a joke if the ticker leaves.
The movement of primary listings out of New York and into Texas has begun.
