President Claudia Sheinbaum marks the Niños Héroes at Chapultepec on Sunday, then goes to Pachuca for Honestidad y resultados, her second informe on the road. It is her fifteenth trip to Hidalgo. The Mexico desk files a ceremony and a gira, not a treaty.

Trump, in Dublin Saturday, said he would have a great relationship with Mexico and would not walk off USMCA. Sheinbaum’s line has not moved: she will not sign anything that hits sovereignty or the economy. Washington tabled 54 points. Reuters: both capitals want a bilateral patch before the Nov. 3 midterm. Canada is at a separate table.
