President Claudia Sheinbaum said at Monday’s mañanera that new rules banning cellphones in primary and secondary schools take effect Tuesday, Nov. 3. She has visited 23 states in three weeks on her Honestidad y Resultados tour. The Mexico desk files a president who is on the road and a rule with a date.
In Tijuana she laid the first stone of a desalination plant with Baja California Gov. Marina del Pilar Ávila — water for Tijuana and Playas de Rosarito, she said, as a right, not a business. She said she agreed more coordination with Chihuahua Gov. Maru Campos through Gobernación. Not a working meeting. The petitions go to Segob.
The liquid will stop being a business for a few and become a right.
