Texas PAC booked $51.3 million in television on Friday for Ken Paxton — Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Austin — after Senate Republicans sat the summer out. James Talarico, the Democrat, had the air. John Cornyn had the caucus. The States desk files Texas as a Senate seat the party will not lose on purpose.

MAGA Inc. put up $10 million last week. Elon Musk’s America PAC has spent more than $2.6 million.
