BELGOROD, Russia — An overnight Ukrainian drone attack on the city of Belgorod killed two people and injured 13, local authorities told Reuters on Sunday. Governor Alexander Shuvayev said the attack damaged 30 blocks of flats, 35 cars, four houses, three administrative buildings, eight commercial premises and three social facilities. In a village near Shebekino, another person was killed and one was injured. Those are two counts. This desk is not adding them as if they were one strike, and it is not folding in Saturday’s fire in Togliatti or Friday’s three dead in Oryol.
The photograph was released Sunday. Cars burn on the street. Broken glass and metal cover the pavement. Mayor Valentin Demidov’s office handed the frame to Reuters. No people are in it. It is not a count of the dead, and it is not a rescuer.
