Moscow’s mayor called it the largest drone attack ever on the capital. Sergei Sobyanin: 450 unmanned aircraft downed on the way in. Russia’s Defense Ministry counted 1,110 across 19 regions, the biggest overnight bag of the year. Several reached the Gazprom Neft refinery at Kapotnya, about 15 kilometers from the Kremlin. A fire. An apartment hit. At least two dead in the wider region, a third later in hospital. Russia was on the last day of its parliamentary vote. The War desk files it here, not on the portada.
President Zelenskyy confirmed the hit: a key oil site and a logistics yard, “billions of dollars that sustain the war machine.” He named Flamingo and Pelican among the missiles, and a list of long-range drones. The plant supplies a third of the capital region’s fuel. Sobyanin said the point was to disrupt the ballot. “The adversary failed.” Four hundred people left a tower in Ramenskoye, seventy of them children.
These are billions of dollars that sustain the war machine.

In Kyiv region the other way: a Russian drone hit a house. A mother and her two three-year-olds dead. A girl died in hospital from another strike. Governor Tkachenko: 31 sites in five districts. The War desk files Sunday as it is: a refinery burning inside Moscow, three children in the Kyiv count, and day 1,670.
