Texas Southern University published it this morning: James Talarico 47, Ken Paxton 46, among 1,800 likely voters, Sept. 15–19, margin 2.3. Libertarian Ted Brown 3. Undecided 4. The States desk files a Senate race that has been inside the error for a month, and a poll dated the morning Trump was in the green hall.
Talarico leads Latinos 57–38 and women 53–42. Paxton leads white voters 56–37 and men 51–42. Abbott is plus four on Gina Hinojosa. Dan Patrick plus six. The railroad commissioner race is two points: Bo French over Jon Rosenthal. Emerson last week was the same one-point spread. ReconMR had Talarico plus six.
A virtual tie, 42 days out.
