Overnight into Saturday, Russia sent two Zircon anti-ship missiles from Kursk and 174 strike drones — Shahed, Gerbera, Banderol, decoys — at Ukraine. The Air Force said 141 were shot down or jammed by 8 a.m. Kyiv. Missiles did not reach their targets, it said. Hits and debris in twenty-four places. The War desk files day 1,669 here, not on the portada.

The day before had already killed eleven and wounded more than sixty-four, regional officials told the Kyiv Independent. Balakliia, Kharkiv: a double-tap on a house, four dead. Sumy: two dead, ten hurt, a seven-year-old boy and a thirteen-year-old girl among them. Odesa: an administrative building, at least eleven wounded. Kramatorsk: one dead. The General Staff counted 213 clashes yesterday and 1,520 Russian casualties, its figure.

Russian attacks against Ukraine killed 11 people and injured at least 64 over the past day.

Trump signed Lindsey Graham’s Russia bill Friday night. The Kremlin said more sanctions make a peace harder. The War desk files Saturday morning as it is: 174 drones, a stairwell still smoking, and a statute in Washington that does not put out Balakliia.
